Multiplayer free?

New install on second PS4...

I bought battlefront new years ago and installed on my PS4.  Hardly played, but my kid liked it.  He got a new PS4 and installed the game but can not connect to multiplayer.  I forget if the game came with a code just to play online or not.  Do I have to buy another code or season pass just for him to play online???

Any help is appreciated.

@lugerlach10 Hey, there's no need for a second code or season pass. If you're using a disc version you can just pop that in and play. 

However perhaps the or child account is prevented from playing the game online, there are some age restrictions in some areas.
