Mouse and keyboard support for console

You do realize that all the detecting fortnite did ended 2 days after they announced that they could detect them and they literally can’t tell the difference between a third party controller and xim all they can detect is weather or not it is a official controller for that system

You need to stop lying about fortnite banning xim. that has never happened and never will. the fortnite devs are committed to keeping PC Players out of console matches. thats what the wasd checks were for. they didn't stop doing it because xim found a way around it. they stopped it because it was not working. the xim devs are just fast AF at taking care of issues like that, you could even say they know exactly what kind of signals the device outputs and have pre existing solutions to any attempt that would prevent it from working. the reality is only some people upgraded, most didn't and everyone who didn't upgrade still plays fortnite if they so desire.

we already know how this is going to play out. spoiler, it ends with more players using mouse and keyboard on console. we've seen it happening for years now.

Keyboard players will be grouped with keyboard players and ps4 players with ps4 players.

Adding k&m support wont stop ppl from using an adapter..you really think a player is going to not use an adapter they paid for..especially with having an advantage...come on. Logic. There are more ppl who want the advantage more than to simply play on m&k..come on now..

I believe Apex should also be on keyboard and mouse for players on console. Maybe add that feature and let they players play on PC servers.

Why do people think that when we ask for M/K support we think of something like fortnite if you use M/K on console in fortnite when you queue you get automatically put on the pc servers and if you queue with controller you can't use M/K because your on the console servers

Great, so let's split the player base on console and increase matchmaking times.

And it's not like a wheel. On racing games even very good players sometimes prefer controller and it's not a giant deal. On a FPS a KB/M would turn into a faceroll show, especially on a game like Apex. It is far superior...which is why it shouldn't be allowed.

Get good with the controller or go back to hack fest PC land (another reason not to enable cross platform).
