And finally: how do you do, sir Topnotch!

"Under siege the rockets fly, hold our Fortress in the sky!"

Topnotch is a hero of the RocketBot Uprising and defender of the Fort Rocket. Topnotch is a veteran of the Rocket Championship tour, having previously won two trophies. He uses his jetpack to attack from the sky, calling down artillery strikes from his airship, the Golden Zephyr.

This majestic airship watches over Fort Rocket, a heavily guarded museum which contains secrets and artifacts of ancient Crater. Topnotch is a jetpack equipped artillery specialist who barrages the arena from above.

He excels at long range aerial bombardment, zoning opponents, and supporting allies from afar. He can also cook his primary grenades and detonate them remotely for increased precision.

Abilities

• Bouncing Beauty:  Bouncing Grenade. Hold to delay detonation.
• Artillery Salute:  Call down a cascading artillery line.
• Zephyr Strike: Lock-on and initiate a giant rocket strike.

Welcome to the latest addition to the team: Flux! 

"What? It’s only rocket science!"

Flux is a genius scientist, avid cat enthusiast, and the youngest person ever admitted to Propulsion Prep. Flux believes science can solve any problem! Crater’s most excitable prodigy recently took a break from her classes to join the Tour. Why? She prefers to test her science in the field, and what better field than a Rocket Tour arena?!

She uses a trusty laser pointer to guide her aptly-named Rockats (Rocket Cats. Rockats. Get it?) around the arena towards opponents. She can also create a massive Black Hole Cat that moves slowly across the map, growing exponentially in size and power by devouring all rockets in its path. With a fully fed Black Hole Cat, Flux can help her team push towards objectives and zone out opponents.

Flux prefers to orchestrate her rainbow-fueled mayhem from a safe distance. If trouble does manage to reach her though, she can instantly shift into another dimension (appropriately named, “Fluxverse”) to slip away unharmed. While in this colorful parallel reality, she is able to skip about the arena completely unseen.

Abilities

• Rockats: Guided, bouncing rockets.
• Black Hole Cat: Slow-moving black hole that grows in scale and damage by catching incoming attacks.
• Fluxverse: Temporarily hide from opponents in an alternate dimension.

Lucky to have you on board, Leef!

"I’ve no idea what Leef said!" - Official Tour Translator

Leef wields powerful archaic magic and is one of the oldest and most peculiar creatures on Crater. His kind were thought to have vanished eons ago along with their fabled home, the Realm of the Ancients. Despite his unfathomable age, Leef still approaches life with an innocent, childlike wonder.

Accompanying Leef is Flitt, his insect-like best friend. In the arena, Leef sends Flitt out to ensnare opponents mid-air in a magic vortex. With his foes trapped, Leef flings spiraling Arcane Rockets towards them from his magic-imbued wooden staff. Successful hits will power up the staff until it's fully charged, turning Leef's next Arcane Rocket into a Charged Beam that can pierce through multiple targets at once.

Appropriately for a creature lost to history, Leef is also highly elusive. Utilizing his mind-bending Warp Dash, Leef can quickly curve around cover or zip through enemies, damaging them along the way!

Abilities

• Traveler's Staff: Fast spiraling rockets. Deal damage to charge up and fire a beam rocket.
• Flitt: Launch Flitt to stun opponents. Don't worry, Flitt likes it!
• Warp Dash: Quickly move in any held direction. Can be redirected.
