Meaning of different event icons

Hi, I´ve noticed the different racing events have different icons, some races have a solid circle, others a laurel crown as icons (see attachments)

I can't find this anywhere in the ingame help or online or the game manual, what do the different icon mean?

I'd like the meaning of all the map icons (like a legend of sorts, not only those two).

Itt means you have been  in the race already

@WuFiLYou are right, I had a race that I probably try but didn't win, the crown background one means all events in that spot have been completed. Marking as correct answer
