Matchmaking an MMR

Hi,

the last couple of weeks of playing apex legends felt very disappointing.

I'm not a good player and i have no problem to admit that. I play in gold ranks.

I just want to know if there is a mmr in this game or how the matchmaking works.

The game feels very unbalanced an unfair because of the high skill gap between the players.

Is there any information about this topic?

@Ayes80 Yeah, there is skill-based matchmaking in Casual games and it's not in a good place rn.
