Mandatory for medics to revive people

I find it a bit irritating that team medics just run past people and not revive their teammates. There should be a rule that if they do not revive people they are kicked from the game.

Sometimes it's very hard to find the battlefield clear enough to go run and revive teammates. I understand the frustration I feel the same way. Try to team up with a squad of medics if available. Press start then change squads.
