Madden 23 mobile glitch, not receiving players in trade

I was sent here by the EA help advisors to see if someone higher up here could help me.. 

After spending weeks collecting players and tokens for the Gridiron event, I finally got enough for the Gridiron rare select trade (6 players and 110 tokens for the right to choose a 92 overall Gridiron player)). Upon completing the trade the game took my resources after I chose the FB yet never gave him to me. 

The EA help advisors said it was a disconnection somehow that erased my data and they couldn't help me. 

My thing is, if you can see that it took my players and I did the trade yet got nothing, why can't they reimburse me with either another player or the same draw. If I had paid for it I'm sure they would have reimbursed me or sent me something at least. 

So the answer was to post it here so someone here could fix it for me.

It says fixed, but most definitely was not. I'm just out 6 players I spent awhile accumulating and won't have time to do again before the event ends.
