Loba jump drive braclet

Will there ever be a way you can cancel the jump drive braclet if it gets thrown. I have had many time where I wanted to throw it and I do but then my teammate gets attack. Than I'm far away from them.

I do know that if you throw it like off a cliff it will come back.
