Linux support for this game is needed and should be available without using Steam.

Yea, now that EAC is confirmed and Battleye is (probably) next to be confirmed, I'll be doing some testing of my own soon.
Only problem is my old testbed is now a 9-year old's gaming PC, and getting her off slime rancher and FFXIV is not going to be pretty.
(thankfully, she has no idea what dual boot is and can't throw that back at me. Yet.)
