So far I don't know what the requirements are for respawning;

Do I need to be in the new ring when it closes?

Do I need to be out of combat?

How long before they respawn?

Never been given my squad back even 20 seconds in to the ring closing..

Mhhh.

I wasn't spawned in on ring-closing so I assume it spawns me back in when the ring is counting down again.
I also noticed that the respawn beacons are gone so getting killed after a ring has closed is a bit annoying and you sit there for a while.

So your squad has to survive an extra round to get you back into the game.

Haven't played a lot of games yet but it's just casual but with a different spawn mechanic.

@EA_Atic Played 1 game then i logged out of origin.

1. Team mate is dead, death box (not knock down)

2. Instead of trying to pick banner and respawn beacon, you run, hide and stay alive inside the ring while it's closing,

3. Once the ring is stop closing, your team mate will be respawned , flying down from the sky,

4. Team mate start looting all over again and start fight again.

Considering you'll rarely be able to escape a fight once 2 of your teammates get killed, unless you weren't a part of the fight or disengaged early, you'll never be able to respawn your teammates. This mode is just normal Apex Legends. but with a much higher penalty for dying. So once again, just like Gold Rush Duos, pretty boring and also terrible mode. 

I knocked out the 10k meters early in 5 matches by simply dropping solo to a place really far away from the orientation of the dropship, grabbing the first jump tower, and continuously taking it to the same location over and over again. I averaged about 3k meters before the first ring closed.

@pastaclown Exactly. 5 matches, in all when someone died, instant D/C. Afterwards it’s just same squad or later on another kills the remaining 2
