Keybinds: what will be where, and are there enough?

This is more of a thread to discuss key bonds rather than wanting a dev to respond because they probably legally can’t. So far we know we will have a fire button, as well as controls to shoot missiles, 2 auxiliary things, speed control, something to switch power between engines, weapons and shields, movement buttons, and hopefully buttons to angle shields.

 

Now, I’m on a controller so it doesn’t have an alphabets worth of keys to spam press. Firing can’t be anything but RT, LT would be zoom. Probably LB and RB for auxiliary or a missile. But there are 2 auxiliary things and 1 missile, and only 2 buttons. So there’s a problem here.

I’d assume there’d be no look around function because the whole ship would move, so the left move thing would steer the whole ship. But the trailer showed you could look around your cockpit. So this would be right, but speed should probably be the right one. D pad could be pressed to indicate boosts to engines, weapons and shields (up left and right). And the  A B Y X stuff doesn’t really mean much because you don’t really need to interact, commando roll or jump. But Y could be the missiles, which solves the first problem

 

So, what questions do you guys have in regards to keybinds and the controllers? And are there enough things on the controller to reach everything without needing to look down, stretch your fingers or take a finger off another thing?

@HCarbonic Sorry if directions like left and right are confusing, it’s just to do with the movement joystick thingies on controllers.
