After years away from gaming, I finally succumbed to fan-love and got my hands on Star Wars Battlefront II.
Incredible. Simply just amazing.
Seriously - I started out in gaming way back in the 90s - I was a game reviewer, and graphic designer for some famous UK games mags.
Since then I kinda lost touch with gaming as I went on to do other things, but I've always been in or around high end 3D CGI.
So to see how far gaming has come, to witness and experience how incredibly powerful and emotive characters have become - the evolution has left me stunned and overjoyed.
But specifically to STBF2 - loving the game despite all the in-game credit furor, however I do have one little gripe. I know its supposed to be an action/adventure game, but is there a mode where I can just wander around and explore, without blasting everyone to pieces.
The worlds are so incredibly rich and detailed, the characters are awesome, I just want to, you know, chill out and wander around for a bit...
