Jumping penalty

Is there any way we can get some kind of penalty in place for jumping repeatedly over and over again. Basically bunny hopping. Like maybe a jump timer or after the first one you can only do a tiny little jump and it slows your speed down a lot. All this bunny hopping is pretty lame, kind of reminds me of that terrible BR fortnite...

I’m already using a shotgun whenever possible. I’v always hated the  fortnite shotgun/jump fighting meta.

I’m guessing it’s gonna be the meta in this game as well. Shotguns wreck currently, and jumping helps dodge bullets. It’s a proven tactic in many games so I guess it’s here to stay. 

I myself would prefer less jump fighting. Other than that I have no jump complaints.
