In game chat window not showing-ps4

Hello all! 

Just a minor inconvenience, the in game chat window no longer shows. I set the gameplay and video settings back to default to see if that corrected it. Still not working. Any recommendations?

All we can do is wait for it to be fixed; the next big patch is scheduled for January but there is still a small chance it could be fixed as part of tomorrow's TTK update

I also noticed this, it is a simple but useful feature to communicate with the squad when not in party chat. Please bring it back.

Same here, it happend when first Tides of War update droped... :/
