- add classes & remove specialists. (core battlefield experience)

- add server browser.

- add platoons.

- add 'all' chat.

- add content. (gamemodes, weapons, maps, emblems, skins, cards, tags)

- remove excessive loading cinematics each round. (countdown timer?)

- adjust the loadout system. (lesser steps & plussystem attachment removal)

- adjust melee. (back to 1st person)

The video does bring up some good points, but I don't agree with the class section.

I don't agree with the hero's route, while I'm also not interested in the old class system at the same time. I would have been fine with a universal soldier system to where I could have just picked my own gadgets, weapons and/ or attachments and saved them as loadouts.

Like the video shows, you couldn't make the same engineer class like you could in past titles, and I directly noticed the issue quite fast on release.

I think a lot of things throw off the balance of gameplay in Battlefield 2042.

Maps because they're mostly just fields of nothing (what's the point of fighting over something that doesn't spark interest).

Automatic spotting and/ or nameplate when in close range (this creates a huge issue that people can't be stealthy. With the terrible wing-suit gadget, players are able to move with little risk, but then the automatic spotting feature just lets players abuse it.

These kinds of gadgets and/ or features are the real issues to the balance in my opinion.

★★★★ Guide

1. Map rotations

2. Server Browser

3. A functional squad UI window so we can easily swap squads and join up w friends like all other BF games.
4. The 4 classes and scrap the crappy specialists.
5. Add actual cover on all objectives and make all maps look like an actual battle has taken place.

Basically Battlefield as we knew it.

Just watched a BF1 video from jackfrags, made me envious of what could have been.

So for me (long time BF fan 😞) I'm gonna need some more weapons, more maps, and a BF mode with classes.

Yep I agree Battlefield as we knew would definitely work for me, and make any new maps the same quality of Exposure.

I am currently falling back into the same slump with this game that I was in with Battlefield V.  Where I do not care about the Battle Pass or its rewards especially when most of the joined matches are terrible.

This series continues to offer nothing for team players that actually do want to play to win.  It is all about chasing individual goals.  I am going back to Splatoon 2 where there is a ranked mode and at the very least others on the servers playing to get to the top of the rank ladder.

I am struggling to stay interested in Breakthrough matches for more than ten minutes now before turning the game off.  It is a shame because there are some good ideas in BF2042 that are unfortunately wrapped around the same old problems.

share your ideas to make ppl play more and not waiting just for weekly missions

I think they should bring back daily orders. Each order could award 1 Battle Pass point or a small amount of BFC. This would encourage people to play throughout the week and, on the other, people (with less free time) would have more options to grind when playing.

what yours ?

Persistent server with map rotation and/or a server browser. This missing feature not only will bring back players but if they keep it out any longer ppl will stop playing and never look back at DICE releases.

as I wrote half a year ago, only pc players will remain, and so it happened. You can go to the xbox games page and read in the reviews that people don't want to play with pc players. Played a few games this week and didn't meet any console players. With crossplay disabled in the lobby 1-5 players. In whose sick head did it come to do crossplay with pc? People, on the contrary, left the pc to play on equal terms...

There is no desire to play even on a new map.

I see tons of console players when I play. So I don't where youre getting that info from.

I don't think I've ever been in a rmatch that wasn't pretty even numbers of PC and console players.
