So I launch the game through Origin and was wondering since there is no keybind for screenshots in game that if there was something I'm doing wrong, f12 and prtscr don't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I've checked my screenshot folder and it's empty.

If you use a GeForce GPU you can use the screenshot function of GeForce Experience...that's how I do it
However it's pretty lame of Origin not to be able to make screenshots itself properly

There is something wrong with the screenshot thing.
I have to make short recordings and then get screenshots from the recording.

Use an external program like dxtory, then. Doesn't affect the performance in a significant way.

Add origin.exe as a non steam game. Add the shortcut to your desktop.
Make sure origin isn't on and double click on the shortcut.
This will load origin into the steam overlay, then you can launch Andromeda and use the inherent steam screenshot function to take screenshots.
And if you want your "now playing" to show Andromeda instead of origin, just rename the shortcut in your steam library.
Had to do it this way because you can't just add andromeda as a non steam game, it doesn't load the overlay.
It's kind of stupid that andromeda doesn't have an inherent screenshot function, or origin for that matter.

Strikes me as pretty lame that you have to jump throgh all those hoops just to do something as basic as taking a screen shot.
srsly. I don't get it.

I can't seem to get that to work.
However,it got me thinking...
I launched with Steam. No screenshots.
I launched with GeForce Exp. No screenshots.
Last ditch thinking...I launched with Razer Cortex and tada...screenshots!
Game seems to even run a little faster too since Cortex does game boost (basically only allows the game to use RAM)
Thanks for getting my thought process going.

By far easiest method! thank you. But is there a way to view the files without having to upload them to facebook or anything?

@HoldmeImscared If you mean GeForce Experience. I connected my google account and made a galery on my computer where it saves the screenshots. It was a bit tricky tho
