I’ve given up on getting it until I find Amber Gemma.

No luck here either. I've been in that nest many times, trying different characters. Also tried with the boom box playing and with it off. Looks like early October patch will be needed to get it done.

Amber appeared during a skirmish by the yellow building close to the factort for me. She wasn't a boss, just a gold pea shooter.

Same.

Stinks that we will have to wait for the patch because I’m dying for the Engineer costume that unlocks at 50/50 medals.

Also beat BC5 with two people.  Super hard.
