How do I link my Apex Legends account on Xbox One to my EA account?

I tried ti claim the twitch prime loot but my ea account says my xbox account isnt connected? Theres no button that i can use to connect it and ive done everything the help forums have said but still nothing. I tried to add myself as a friend on my computer but there was no "connect" button like one of the workers said. I just want to know if you guys can just li k it for me
