Here's my honest opinion!

Where do I begin! Smh!

This is why Dice EA just killed this beautiful franchise!

1. Communications in general suck. Specifically team communication, Targeting flags, and the voice acting. Not even going to mention visual warning for medics and support!

2. Visuals are a downgrade! On XSX characters from afar are literally pixilated and moving 1 Fram per second!

3. Destruction is a downgrade as well! And for this point I'm adding not having any fortification or the ability to dive while swimming!

4. Specialist need so much balancing! For example Rao has so much potential but his ability takes a million years and needs to be more accurate than a sniper when aiming! Flack is more or less useless as everyone is running around with medical crates and angel can also revive everyone and give them plates! Health regeneration takes a few seconds so there is no advantage for her! Casper's drone has no limits? Why!! Way more comments but moving on to another point

5. Vehicles are overpowered and are so much more available than infantry! Maybe 70-80% of the time people are dying from vehicles! Anti vehicle weapons and abilities are too weak against them!

6. Gun spread. No need to mention more on this one as the internet has gone crazy about this already!

7. Map design! I feel sorry for the people putting in hours and hours on those designs to be played as conquest or breakthrough! Maps seem to be intended for something different than regular FPS!

8. Movement is a massive downgrade! They had something beautiful in BF1, then did a slight change that seems to work well in BFV (Personally though it was a bit fast) why change it?

9. Why are there so many cut scenes and loading screens! And not having the ability to change your character or customised it while waiting is brutal!

10. Not being able to customize mini-map size! Also the in-game map is useless! Not being able to choose your squad or even have a closer look at your squads mate situation before respawning on them sucks! BF1 had the best respawn screen with so many details and information! The UI in 2042 sucks.. all of it

11. No voice chat? Really! Really!!?? That shows how lazy dice were creating this game!

In fact not having a traditional scoreboard that will show me how well or not well I'm doing is straight up lazy and stupid! This game is rushed. 

So many other points that it would take me probably 30 minutes to write this post and it's getting boring and lame to keep complaining!

Over 3 years to develop this game with so many studios you would expect so much more!

I honestly think there was a different project being worked on and it got delayed until after this one!

This BF2042 seems rushed and not well thought of! Not thought of at all actually!

Perhaps when they got info that COD are having a WW2 game they relaxed and thought that this year is an easy one! I don't know!

Maybe this is why the brought in so many studios! To finish a rushed project! 3 years of work on this release is a joke! Doesn't seem like a project with sweat and tears behind it, doesn't seem like something striving to leave a mark! 

I think they lost a good chunk of their player base and even more in terms of trust with this release!

At this pace and quality of games, with releases like this one I don't see BF franchise surviving for more than another launch!

During BF1 we were around 12 people playing it in two separate parties on Xbox!

BFV dropped it to only 3! And now I was the only one who tried to play 2042 AND I HATE IT! Of course I lost my other two mates during the joke of a beta!

Of course the universe doesn't revolve around my friends and I and surely there are a ton of people out there with different tastes in games! I'm just putting my opinion here and hoping for the best

I'll see you lads on the battlefield! Just not this one and probably not the next one either!
