Did this for one go in conquest. Very rarely go in anything other than catching a lift, thought meh, why not.
50mm cannons are a complete joke. No wonder I have so many deaths to them
How can ANYONE think this is balanced.
Add the stealth heli that ALSO has flares and is insanely fast.
Yeah, a lot of thought went into this honest.

The problem is the lack of proper damagemodels and helos having HP like they were flying tanks with 65 tons of armor. Even the littlebird can take tens, if not a hundred hits from a 20-30mm automatic cannon and just not care. Fly away for a few seconds and you are fully repaired. Even being on 1% of health and burning does nothing because it fixes itself instead of destroying the helo.
Fixes:
* Make helos take more realistic damage, from all weapons. (example: no damage to hinds, because they are armored, from small arms fire, but everything else. The littlebird should be possible to bring down with just about anything because you actually can irl, there is a reason they arent used as gunships in real life.
* No more automatic repair (of anything please), make them have to land to be repaired by an engineer, or on a landingpad. Which would also make the engineer-tool usable, now it´s basically a waste of an equipment slot.
*No more infinite ammo and flares, make them have to restock at "base", a landing pad or from a dropped crate like everyone else (same for every vehicle please).
This way the guns dont have to be nerfed to crap like they are now. It´s ok for a 30mm cannon to have splashdamage, just make the helo a helo and not a flying tank.

Simple answer:
LFG for one other person to run AA Launcher and have a Rao hack the helicopter. Within the time of the helicopter being affected by the hack, launching 2 AA rockets when they are hacked and are trying to deal with the hack the AA missile has more than enough time to reach the heli to take it out. If we are talking the Transports, more AA, better affect.
Been bullying multiple Heli abusers by this tactic, instead of them going on massive killstreaks, they just die and rage quit from not being able to react fast enough.
Think bigger than just simple gameplay, get that bread.
Stop crying over not being able to mindlessly play the game yall, no one wants to problem solve more than just one reaction.

So, the way I see it, several things need to happen regarding helicopter power level.
1. Nerf the 50mm cannon against infantry, but slightly buff it against vehicles.
2. Add some kind of visual effect (an easy, lightweight one, so it's easy on people's hardware) when a vehicle is hacked or EMP'd. Some kind of 2D electricity effect would do, and be lightweight on graphics.This would allow teams to capitalize on Rao's power.
3. If a lock-on is started on a Stealth helicopter before it enters stealth mode, the lock-on should persist. As it currently stands, entering stealth mode is basically like having a second set of flares.
4. Buff the main cannon of jets, and reduce the time in-between Anti-Air missile fires. (AGM fire rate should stay the same.)
