Heirloom progress resetting after collection event purchase? [ Edited ]

Does buying heirloom shards from collection event reset your progress of getting an heirloom by opening 500 packs?

Well as far as I can see it does reset your heirloom progress, I have got my first heirloom in season 2, which 100 levels was the max you could be back then, after getting my heirloom I have opened around 400 packs. Today I bought the heirloom from the Second Anniversary event, right after getting my second heirloom I went and bought 140 more packs and I DID NOT recieve another heirloom which I actually should get... Can someone hear me out please? I am desperate for and waiting answer from apex devs...

@CKG_Slyht_35 Not anymore no it does not. If you purchased yours before 2/10 then it will have reset your counter. If that was you, please contact EA Customer support at the link I provided below.
