If you indeed have, enable two-factor authentication immediately. Simply hacking/knowing your account email and password is not enough with that enabled.

I've been on this forum for a couple of years now and there have always been many reports of hacked accounts. I think it's more common near the end of the year because hackers want to exploit the success of the new FIFA game. This is almost certainly the fault of players not enabling two step verification and/or picking a bad password or a password that they use for other accounts. I have recently learned what type of passwords most people choose for private accounts, and it's shockingly transparent.

@Nan0beat In that case it sounds like you'll want to reach out to support. They can check on your account to determine what's happened, and they can both return control and add extra security to your account.

I can confirm Origin has been hacked at some point in 2017 because I searched for my previous main and widely used password through Google...

I quit using this password about half a year ago but before I knew all this. But still, this is not good because I guess I'm a minority.

And how the hell did those hackers got the plain text version?
This means it's stored somewhere in plain text instead of a hash, didn't they teach those developers anything about security?
I know it's a bit more difficult with hashes instead of plain text but this is their job, for Christ's sake!

If anyone finds their password on that site too, please drop a reply.
