Why would you ban his hardware when you could just ban his town?

Better than nothing. Any deterrents or perceived threats are better than rinse/repeat hackers. 16k banned.. 16k new accounts.. same hacktivity. It's gotten much worse. Possibly from there not being any threat to even the EZ button pleb cheaters.

There is hope though.. that Respawn will do what they did with Titanfall.. and put all the cheaters into their own servers. That would be choice.

1st - Check for any Client Side or Server Side software manipulation tools.
2nd - Lock up the IP address and current location.
Note: This will prevent any attempts to use VoIPs, or any other methods, to try and trick the anti-cheat software.
3rd - Now you have the ability to stop server side cheating companies.
Note: THIS WILL HELP SIGNIFICANTLY because it prevents other players from using those server side cheats.
4th - Keep your software up to date and make sure that the program is doing its job.
Note: Once a player plays your game, they've accepted the terms above.
Ez preventative measures to stop and prevent hackers. Put in your ToS, "We are obtaining your IP address (which you already do), and current location (which is added to the ToS), when playing this game. If we find any client, or server side, manipulation tools we will prevent you from having access to this game."
Internet sites already do this all the time. More the half of the time sites have pop-ups asking, "Would you like for to us to track your current location?" Some sites ask you, "This site use cookies to run this site. Do you accept this company using cookies?" Besides the normal, "Don't block ads because it pays for this site." Some sites will prevent you from entering their web pages if you have an ad blocker.

Noticed a decrease in aim botters when they banned 16,000 cheaters.
But today, the cheaters are definitely back, just saw Wraith very obviously follow someone using wall hack.

This game needs serious anti cheat. How hard can it be to detect this stuff? Just use an invasive software and those of you not storing kiddie porn will be fine. Just look at youtube, none of the videos selling cheats are even being taken down... And EA has no reason to ban them that is the worst part. It's a f2p game that means each customer is a total loss until they buy something. So they won't be banning cheaters right away, they will most likely wait until they buy some things, or a short window then ban them. Just look at bf5, it was recently posted on youtube that many hackers don't even get banned in their first 100 matches playing with aimbot. Videos for your education, one is a guy TRYING TO GET BANNED on battle eye and it TOOK months! the other is recent BF5 cheaters
I love fps and hate cheaters, I wish one game company would step up and fix this...
