Grouping champions together for higher plays

Group people who win games together. If they lose, they go back to playing with normal people who lose games as well, but if they keep winning, they keep playing with others who keep winning.

I thin that this is a superb idea! It's such a standard format for competitions that it makes me wonder why I haven't seen it before in video games.

I can see how implementing it might be more complex for the gameplay designers than we players might realise. But it's a great idea nonetheless.
