Gamertag is tied to email address that no longer exists [ Edited ]

I have been trying and trying to get this squared away and I think the only answer I can get is that I'm out of luck. In Origin, my gamertag is "linked" to another email address that no longer exists (my old college email address). The problem is I have updated my email address on Xbox but this does not update my email address on Origin. I cannot get into Origin under my old college email address to unlink the gamertag as the Origin account has been deleted (but the associated link to Xbox hasn't https://1921681001.id/ https://19216811.cam/ ...?).

Is there nothing I can do other than create a new Xbox gamertag to associate with Origin if I want to be able to play any Gamepass games? I just need my Gamertag unlinked from a deleted EA account. If the EA account is deleted why is it still linked? As we stand right now it just takes me to a screen that says "you're password needs updated, an email has been sent. Go do that".
