Game option request, male or female Main Character choice

One of the things in the Mass Effect, KOTOR, and Fable games that I really enjoyed (and thought these games did particularly well with) was the option to make a male or female character. Can this be an option in this game? I know it may be a little late in game production to include this on release, but a patch down the road that allowed this would be awesome.

While it would be great to create and develop your own character like you could in the old KotOR games, in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal is the protagonist of the story and you'll be playing him as you see him in the trailer. This is his story that we're telling, so I'm afraid there won't be any character creator.

Well i was going to preorder this but after all the flak from the wife about "what no female?" guess i wont. She was so excited for a single player game...now....well if i play it will be when she is not home.

You should maybe be prepared for a let down.

I'm just happy EA are actually getting off their collective butts and doing "something" more with the Star Wars license. The upside is when that comes to an end hopefully a more reputable publisher will pick up the rights and run with it

@Algebra_SummerDisney wants everything to be cannon so you will never ever get to choose your character in any SW game anytime soon.
