Please stop deleting/moving my post and actually help me!!!!!


When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache."


I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected.


I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help.

 

I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.

Why are my posts being moved here. My games have not been removed from the app. Can someone please help, instead of trying to bury the issue.

Hi! I have the same problem with The Sims 4. I'm using the STEAM version. The license is invalid...
I have tried many actions from the forum and I have doubts that this is a problem in my PC, most likely a problem on the part of the EA APP.

Hey, I am having the sama problem with the sims 4. I have tried clearing my cache more times then I can remember, I have unintalld and reinstalld both the game and the app but nothing is working, I just want to play the game. Frown

I've lost out to the free daily login items event because of this. It's really disappointing that we can't get any help.

Right? and all I wanted was the mini fridge Frown  Why did it have to be a login event, i wish it was just a normal free upate, just think how many players cant login because of graduation, work, school or family events. or like us that cant get the stupid game to work -_-

Does anyone actually do anything on this forum. I have been dealing with this for almost a month and  I've ZERO help. Other then my posts, being either deleted or moved around. And submitting a ticket is a joke. All it did was document I had a problem. YET, they are pushing me to pre-order the next expansion pack.

It's been two weeks since my last post. And STILL no help from anyone. All EA cares about is getting our money and once they get that, they don't give a crap if you can play the game or not. This is the most USELESS company. And I will  not be supporting them any more. No more games and I will be telling everyone I know about the lack of care they have for their paying customers. Maybe if people start boycotting them and hitting them where it counts, maybe then they will take notice. But I doubt it.
