Game Specific Identities Issue (The Sims)

EA Account | Game Specific Identities Issue

I've talked to over 10 different EA customer support people and none of them have been able to answer my question or give me an explanation. All they've been doing is either dodging the question or referrring me to a different person so I've come here because of that reason.

It's about the Game Specific Identities [The Sims].

I've changed my EA ID thinking that was the problem but when I play the Sims 4 my Sims 4 username/ID is the same as my EA ID. So it wasn't that. Then when contacting EA customer support through email they wouldn't tell me anything regarding what to do with the Game Specific Identities issue.

Pretty poor of them if you ask me. Kept telling them the same thing over and over again but it was like they were brainless zombies.

So while my EA ID is (dulcetofuu), my username/ID under [Game Specific Identities -> [The Sims]] is (ex: AC).

Is there any way for this to be changed? Like in the back-office sytem?

Like, at this point all I want to know is if the Game Specific Identities [The Sims] username/ID is visible to the public or is it private for only EA/Origin to view? Like, will that [The Sims] username/ID show up during playing any of the Sims games or is it hidden from the public?

Your username in Sims 4 is going to be your EA ID, so if you ever want to update that, you would need to change your EA ID. However, that Game Specific Identity that you're seeing linked under your EA account for The Sims is your ID from The Exchange on TheSims3.com. 

The username for this website is not able to be changed, and does not show when playing the game. It would only show if someone searches your profile on The Exchange, or if you upload content there.

@visheruh can you log onto https://myaccount.ea.com/ and then edit your account information?
