Friend Appears "Online" When Theyre Not [ Edited ]

I'm on PS4 and for the longest time my friend appears "Online" for me but not in "Playing". So I can't invite them but for some reason they can invite me. They said its because we are in different servers but that can't be the case, any help? I have a picture to show the problem.

don´t know on console but in Origin you can log in as invisible,

then i can join parties but not get invited. but thats on PC.
