@E9ine_AC This is great news! Does anyone know if this is only for pc or does it also affect console? Also, will this block the use of cheat boxes like chronus zen, strikepack, and Xim? I sure hope so. Anyway, whatever gets blocked by this I'm sure it will be an improvement, and probably means more updates to the anti cheat are on the way.

This, along with some of the changes already done and the surveys they sent out shows they are definitely listening and are aware of the issues. I hope this is just the start of more good things to come!

@AymCTL What it can detect will be unknown to the players. This is to keep things as secret as possible to ensure no work around can be made. Only way we will know what exactly it is finding is by players openly stating what they were using when it denied them access.

So far I've seen DS4, DS5 being seen in those detections. We will have to wait for people who use those devices to just openly say hey I was using this and its detected now. lol

@OldTreeCreeper Appears its being ran the same as other games using EAC. It disconnects you from the game until you unplug or unload said devices/programs.

Can add CrosshairX with Ds4 and 5 now.

I think this was only for the pc version.   I just tried a gun run on switch and the cheating was just as bad as it usually is.  One person used autokill (one melee punch takes all health and shields) and another player had rapid fire/zero recoil, killing people all over the place in just "one hit".  Could be because it's rooted in one of those boxes and not the software.   I'm hoping the days of people cheating in mixtape on console are numbered though.   I'm sure this current update is just the beginning.

@E9ine_AC I am sure none of cheats developers thought about disguising their cheat as ongoing Windows service or implementing their code into gpu's driver...

Do you lie to people to calm them down? Since Wednesday, I haven't noticed any fewer cheaters in the game.

Once again, I meet lvl 7, 12 and 15 in the lobby - all three of them cheat and use wallhacks. You definitely updated your anti-cheat, 100%, I already believe you.

Of course, I report these players, but it doesn't help. Maybe you can ban them after a month and he will create another account.

Hello, EA playas.
Finally they did it - they added AHK and DS4/5 to the blacklist. So it's time to discuss this amazing update that bring us back to day 1 of apex without ugly no-recoil script abusers, well, well, well, not really because day 1 we did not had the crossplay and the AA abusers  

Its super nice to see that they are cleaning the game from free 3rd party softs that give you advantage against others but is not cool to see that AA abusers are still here.
Joined a few rounds today and it was amazing, no more no-recoil/no-spread melting from huge distance, well not really because from 6 rounds 4 times I got killed by controller with his "AIMBOT, oh pardon - AIM ASSIST" I think now it is time to reduce the AA to 5% max and the game will be fair for everyone or leave it super boosted and bring back the option to turn off the crossplay from settings, we know how you guys removed it silently
