Sorry if this has been posted before but struggling with the EA help.
When I open my EA app on pc my system lags and stutters very badly, my keyboard lights start to flicker and the mouse is semi unresponsive, randomly not activating left or right clicks and movement is erratic. The pc starts disconnecting my keyboard and mouse and reconnects them with associated audio pings. this only happens with the EA app one and the system performance on task manager shows CPU < 5% memory < 40% all disk usage < 1% gpu < 5%. I also have random points where I'm unable to open task manager or close other applications. This continues as long as the EA app is open on my desktop and completely stops when the application is fully closed (no longer on the background tasks)
Mainly happens when the EA app is open and on screen but can happen with the app minimised and also when closed but running in the background.
I have tried to play with the full screen and the Nvidia control panel setting for the eadesktop.exe settings as mentioned in other low fps/lagging posts.
Has been constituently happening for few weeks now, at first I ignored it and was able to play my games and get on with life by just closing the application through task manager but it seems to be getting worse and my pc is pretty much unusable when downloading/installing games.
Any help or ideas would be great.
