EA Trusted Sellers - Steam?

Hello

I am assuming Steam is a trusted seller since their reputation is very highly recommended. However, via EA's "Where to buy EA PC digital downloads" it does not state Steam which seems a bit odd. 

Does anyone know if Steam is a trusted seller? I have a feeling maybe EA forgot to put Steam in their trusted sellers or maybe Steam is sort of a new trusted seller and the trusted sellers on EA website isn't updated.

I had a quick double check a couple hours ago and sure enough it is.

Does Steam require Origin to be downloaded or no?

Certain EA games through Steam well require that you have Origin installed @Primethion.
