EA FC 25 Closed Beta Issue - Wrong Platform [ Edited ]

Hi, 

I received my EAFC 25 Closed Beta but I have an issue. 

My current console is the PS5 but I received a beta code for the PS4? 

Can someone help with this as I am not sure where to contact? Thank you.

Hey all,

We want to clarify the situation since we're seeing many complaints from players who received the code related to a different platform or who can't access the Beta.

When you signed up for the Beta, you had to put a preference on the console; this is explained in our EA Help Article: What is a Closed Beta.

Unfortunately, we can't help you to get another code for a different platform. If you got instead the code for the correct platform but it is not working, follow the same article above for help.

Also, we want to remind you that this Beta is only accessible in the NA and UK regions. Please keep in mind that certain platforms, like the PlayStation region, lock content; if your EA account region is set to a country different from your actual location, your code will not work as it is tied to a different region.You can check the region settings for your EA account here.

Hi, 

I have been sent an invitation to closed beta for FC25 which is great but they have sent me a code for the wrong platform, I use Xbox series S but they have sent me code for PS5. Have checked my preferences and definitely not got PS5 checked so not sure why I have been sent code for it.

My son does play fc24 on his PS5 which his account is linked to mine. 

Any way of changing platforms though so can test the new game on my Xbox?

I’ve received an ea fc 25 closed beta just now. I got the code for the wrong platform (Nintendo Switch) when I play on Xbox series x/s and when put the code in the Nintendo eshop it doesn’t work. Could you try and send me code that works for Xbox series x/s please?

Just had the same issue here, Check your account to see if its set to PS5 only, i checked mine and mine is set to PS5 only so i am at a mystery as to why i have been given a PS4 version

i got my beta code in my email today and i realised it said i can either redeem on steam or ea app instead of playstation store i have redeemed the code but i doubt i can play due to the double input glitch i have is there anyway i can switch the code

i got given the beta for pc but i play on pc can they change the code for xbox series x

Sane here i recieved a code for playstation 4 where i am on the xbox series x/s. Hopefully it can be resolved

So myself as well as a lot of the community have received beta codes for the FC 25 Closed Beta on the wrong console. In my case I received a Pc code when I play on PlayStation 5 and I’ve seen other receive Nintendo Switch codes when they play on PlayStation and or Xbox. I was wondering if any community managers could clear up if this issue will be fixed pre launch or post launch of the Closed beta ?
