I didn't exactly have the same problem but I did get the wrong generation in my code even though I only play the PS5 version of FC 24 and in my preferences it's set to PS5. hope you all the best though considering you can't even play yours because you got the wrong platform.

If you have gotten a code for the ps4 and you are using the ps5 you can still access the beta. Yes I understand it may not be the version you wanted but you should still be able to play and test the game. I have seen many people received the wrong and hopefully you get the correct platform. I would recommend making sure that your preferred platform is ticked and the rest un ticked to make sure that you will get the correct version. However, there is another solution to this. Once downloaded the ps4 version of the application try changing the version of the application and download the ps5 version of the application. Since both platforms are compatible with each other.

Hi, i received my beta code today & it is for the ps4 version? I have tried to pre load but I'm only able to download the ps4 version. I have no idea why because my preferred consoles in my account settings is set to only ps5?

@mario061300 Hoping that when it actually boots up, it changes, however not hopeful as a mate of mine has his code and it says PS5 on his.. so a little bit confused.

So I’ve had a look and all of what you recommended was already checked so I just did it all again and updated it. But even with doing that seeing as I’ve already recieved a beta code am I going to receive another one to rectify the mistake

@MGibson9 Have you had a chance to play it ? I’m at work as of now so I haven’t had a chance to boot up the game. We’ll see it’s just disappointing that’s on ps4 while having a ps5
