Downed players opening/closing doors

They're downed, they dont even have the ability to walk, they're literally bleeding out. But they can open and close doors alright.

This is an intended thing and it's actually a neat thing. It actually makes logical sense since even if you're downed, you can open and close doors.

It's a good thing since you can close doors and find place to hide in.

It doesn't make sense but it makes sense in the game, you probably don't want to end up stuck in a room with your killer....

And anyway, if a door is blocked, you can still open it by kicking it with a good kick.

How does it not make sense?  You can't walk, but you can crawl so I'm pretty sure you can find the willpower to close/open a door if a crazed murderer with a gun and a psychopathic bloodlusting raven are trying to stab you with a knife.
