Do you still get your heirloom skin on 500th once other skins are added ?

I don't want to spend 500$ right away on the game to get the heirloom skin . if I open let say my 500th box in 4 months or 5 months will I still get heirloom skin ? 

or you have to do it before season 1 is out and other skins are added. 

how does the box track works ? 

once you hit 500 open boxes you get it 100% ? or it has to be over a short period of time ?

You get an heirloom 100% after 500 boxes regardless of when you decide to open them. It tracks packs opened on your account, unless they decide to throw in season resets (including packs) then it'll remain that way. I don't see them doing that because figure a season will be around 3 months and a lot of people can't give up $500 in 3 months just for skins so I'm sure they'll continue to track them based on # of packs bought.
