@N3verShiningSun Cross-Play update from few months ago was the final update.Currently Fake Criterion is hiring to make NFS2021 and Ghost was reduced back to EA Gothenburg.The only thing confirmed about next game is Frostbite engine returns.The leaked gameplay(which is highly close to that of MW2012) isn't confirmed so it can be changed in the end.

Well as far as I can tell history seems to only repeat itself. 

New studio don't mean much to me. 

I always look at the released product to make my final assessment of the game. 

High hopes dashed away quickly.

The last three games have left me & other NFS consumer's feeling frustrated & uninspired once the story is done in the game. 

NFS 2015, Payback, & Heat all look great but that's about it. 

Functional none of these games got it right on release day online. 

EA, promotes all thier games exceeding well. 

Unfortunately, the Ghost Studios failed big time to meet even the ground level expectations of our NFS community. 

As for the Cross Play addition back in June 2020. 

I was not even impressed with the added feature & the functiality. 

True Frostbite engine will be good to have for the next game. 

EA really needs to make sure Codemasters dose a knockout job. 

I truly believe that the next NFS game just might be a "Make or Break" moment for the Franchise.
