Do you have to go on multiplayer to do any of the Season Pass maps?

I'm still a bit confused about the season pass and all that.  I got the season pass when it was on the house on Origin and all I could do was go on to multiplayer and try to get a game started on one of the new maps.  Is that all there is?

There is different modes wich can be played in different maps
The bottom bar shows a new prompt, ‘Choose Map’, whenever you however over any of the tiles 
Hope you can find it there. I play on PS4 but I'm sure PC has the same mechanics

I have clicked on those but nothin' new shows up in missions or skirmishes.

the Season Pass includes more maps and heroes, also new modes - you can check them all out in the DLC playlists, if you click on them in the menu.
