@DuaneDibbley I didn't watch the video but they have always said when the game launched 1 new map with each season. But if they bring some of the maps over from portal for AOW that will be a big plus. To most of you here the game is already dead but I still find the game fun and will continue to play it.

first off, credit where credit is due this was the first time since BFV that i felt communication was done directly, properly and directed at core issues concerning the product. it is almost a breath of fresh air.

that beign said why did it take the better part of almost 5 years to actually communicate on this level again? i mean this shows you clearly do know how to do it and as it seems now just chose to not engage in a precise and direct manner for what felt like years by now.

i hope this is not a one time thing like the trello board in BFV yet only time will tell. we will see if the mentioned changes will bring this preject back from the dead, words are all fine but now we need actual proof you can walk the talk.

★★ Guide

At this why would I ever choose the Battlefield sandbox over the Arma Reforger sandbox? Someone has already modded in rush to Arma. I can get comparable experiences there with it actually being a gritty, intense combat game. This update is completely silent on vehicles, specialists are staying, map changes are minor, and I just don't really see all that much to optimistic about with this update. Nothing in this briefing makes me want to come back to Battlefield.

@CantGetRight

One new map and no mention of a server browser so you're gonna have to suffer thru who knows how many of the other maps until you even get to try it

@Straatford87 I realize that the game is in need of MAJOR fixes and that takes time and resources. But to only get 1 new map with S1 is kind of a slap in the face. BF4 had something like 8 new maps by now.

> I can confirm that in the video we are talking about the Season 1 "map", singular.

Does this mean we are not getting a new legacy map for portal?

This was the update I was waiting for. It would be the deciding factor to whether or not I drop this game for good. Yep, that's it for me. Absolute joke it's taking this long to get content and all we are getting is fixes. This game is done for me and so is DICE. Money gone that I wont get back, time to move on. EA, for the love of god, please give Battlefield to a different developer.

Why not add random events from Hazard zone into All out Warfare, such as the falling satellites that will land in an area or capture point that reward players with extra support tickets, vehicles, XP or reinforcements. This would be random events that would force players to fight over a single objective.

@Straatford87 I bought this game to play 128 player breakthrough. If you guys aren't going to support it as an official mode, at least offer it to those that still want to play it as a portal experience.
