@Straatford87Actually a decent amount of really good stuff here. Love to see the attention to detail being improved. Very happy about the newer animations, specialists being updated, voice lines being redone.

"see us further add to our pool of Weapons and Gadgets, by introducing some of our Classic eral arsenal into the All-Out Warfare experiences."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this finally mean they are adding Portal weapons into AOW? Big deal if so.

With all that said, I still can't get over the fact that Specialists are here to stay and that a server browser wasn't even been mentioned once. It's clear the studio knows they are in a pickle, it's a shame how limited they are due to their own terrible decisions.

Very awesome! I can't wait for the map changes to be implemented. It seems like you guys are actually listening to the feedback, and I deeply appreciate that. Thank you for all the hard work!

@MossleySloan85 I think you misread, they are changing the voice lines to a more mature theme, not adding more. They even provided an example/video.

Ouch, after radio silence and blasting past the specialist feedback loop we get this. the decisions to double down on specialists and not introducing a server browser are keeping me away. I check forums daily and know exactly what feedback is going around, y’all still aren’t listening.

I'm sorry specialists and a lack of server browser are tied to the way you want to monetize the game, but nobody is coming back if you don’t actually use the feedback that was given. Keep saying you hear us without making the changes we ask for.

I now confidently feel that 2042 will never get the changes to make it feel like battlefield. Too bad you abandoned BFV in less than 3 years right after the content was good. The writing is on the walls, why would anyone jump into 2042? We all know it has less than 2 years left before it’s dropped like BFV, and 2042 is barely getting out of beta.

@Albake21z They said they’ll be adding more you can buy via the store didn’t they? As well changing the ones we already have.

@Albake21z That is what I took from that. I don't think it will come with Season 1 but later on down the road. I am also looking forward for them adding some of the portal maps to AOW.

@Straatford87 We need CTE for this. Why make us wait until August to see the first map changes if the previews are possible now? Let us play the maps with the new changes, then we can submit feedback. Otherwise it's going to be September / October 2022 once you've received feedback for the map changes before the maps could be in a completed state. CTE can accelerate so much, just give it to us and the feedback loop will open out to everyone.

Did Ryan say (at 1:55) the S1 map or S1 mapS? I heard 'map' (without S). If they have the balls to just bring ONE map with S1 after 9 months of working on new content, then we can declare this game to be DEAD (with or without server browser).

@Straatford87 Hey, you still work as a CM !? Haven't seen you in a while! This forum got loads of questions for you guys..
You could just have said you are postponing the feedback loop instead of keeping us in the dark.

Sorry we had to delay getting that info out to you. We just wanted to make sure we were immediately able to follow-up with the changes we've outlined to you today.

Correct, that is the intent.

I can confirm that in the video we are talking about the Season 1 "map", singular.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Fix controller implementation on both console, but specially on PCs. All these changes seem great but they are for nothing if I can't play the game with my input method of choice. Thank you.
