Discs on cryo bay floor

Has anyone else noticed the small white discs that slide around on the cryo bay floor just before the stairs to the tram? What are they?

My guess would be automated cleaning bots.

Good catch! They are Geth spying drones.  lol...  no, i'm kidding 

But i still miss some Geth movement around the game

So this guy and this girl came out of cryo about 100 years too early, and the guy was using the robots to sent the girl messages....

Hahaha! However, if they were the only two awake on the fully automated Hyperion for 100 years, there would certainly be more going on than passing notes. Besides, the discs seem to simply slide from one side of the floor to the other and back again. Almost like a group of tiny ants playing a game of hockey.

I thought they were ice hockey pucks. I was wanting to know where the sticks were.

Cleaning bots was my first guess too 

Or inspection bots maybe, so SAM can assess the damage of areas where the main sensor grid got knocked offline, or the system in question is not responding to queries?

Who  knows maybe these little guys acted as low-powered monitors during the 600 year trip, constantly checking for faulty systems.
