You have had the chance given to you and with all the feedback stating from fans saying the specialists do not work at all. They are right and I too have never felt so disappointed in playing a battlefield game that doesn't feel like a battlefield game anymore you have made a change that did not need changing at all. Until the system is changed back to classic classes then sorry but I'm out. I hate the specialists I have gave them a chance but no they just don't fit the battlefield vibe at all. Hazard  zone sucks. Portal had no features that make it so great you put a cap on the progress instead of just removing bots. This game has gone from hype to 0 interest. My main reason for the game dislike is Purley the specialists and I just can't see this becoming any better at all it doesn't matter how many updates you bring out how many glitches and performance patches you release. I hate this game you should never of replaced the one thing that made battlefield great and you did it to make money. You still could of done that with the classic specialist. You should start listening to the community and re think about adding a classic class system in a separate all out warefare. Good bye dice you made some great battlefield games but this one is a big No for me

@Deronatron I feel Your pain. I was happy and hyped when I heard that all weapons might be carried by any of the classes. Obviously, specialists were introduced and my excitement ceased to exist. The main reason why specialists were introduced is the monetization drive, not the flow of the gameplay. It`s not like in the past years gameplay has been perfect, but now it`s far from being good.

If only devs could make distinct characters from their own faction - that would be a good step forward. But now seeing the same McKays all around me simply kills it. Instead, EA should release free BR and HZ dedicated to specialists.

The next release will be a hero shooter. BF has been always about the individuals playing as a squad, having a specific role, task to do. Right now emphasis on some futuristic special abilities has been put and all the efforts go that way.

The map design is atrocious, vast, flat spaces, with almost no cover for infantry. Does every god damn transport vehicle have cannon mounted on its top?! Why there are almost no transport vehicles near some capture points. No way the game was tested properly before even Beta.

Idk, if someone is for the first time with a BF franchise then might actually like the core gameplay of 2042. I returned back to BF4, having played on Silk Road TDM, then moved to smaller modes like Chainlink and I`m having a complete blast. I never thought I`m gonna be so disappointed with BF2042 mainly because of the unpolished release and terrible gameplay decisions.

Feels like a Battlefield game to me and ive been playing since bf2142 over 15 years ago. Run and gun, reviving, turrets, robots, beacons, flags, conquest even know it sucks, they changed the 5 man squad from 2142 to 4 man squad sucks.

Grant it it took some time with the specialists which are stupid cause its the same characters on both sides but ive found some favorite specialist like the the medic lady, boris, Angel.

Dont like they dont have a server browser for breakthru.

Biggest problem is the lack of maps, content and weapons.

Dude it will get better, dont quit yet unless u just arent having fun.

Im having some good battles in Breakthru.. They need to work on portal, maps and weapons.

Hang in there man i  dont wanna see bunch of people giving up.

Dice get off your butts and add some stuff we al be mentioning. BFV was pretty bad at the start but after few months it got good.

Im not that great but join me on 2042 add me.

@StrawberryDiesel I`m sure that the BF2042 game can be saved. The title simply needs more fixes to the net code, final optimization, and many more fixes.

Content and smaller maps for TDM, Domination, SQTDM - this is going to save BF2042 really fast. I`ve seen already Gun Master tested. I really loved Chainlink game mode in BF4 - awesome game mode for me.

I know the game gets better after 2 next months. Players seriously need 5 man squads or even 6 man squads in 2042.

The game needs more maps and weapons ASAP to stay relevant, more transport vehicles without OP cannons attached to it. All ground vehicles should be slightly slower by 3 to 6%.

EA - please listen to the player base a bit!
