I wanted to delete my daughters account, but customer service told me that is impossible. There is NO way to do it. I told him that I would like to use my "right to be forgotten" then, but according to him GDPR doesn't apply in this case, because it is a child account that is linked to mine.
What is going on? Why can't I just delete the account? It is an extremely simple action. And why is EA refusing to do it?

Hey @Peoken, you will need to speak with our live support in relation to this.
As I said above, it may be the case that as the account is an underage account and tied to an adult account then you would need to delete the adult account in order to remove it.

Then select 'PC
Manage my Account'
Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.

Hey @Peoken, we are not able to assist with account related issues such as this on AHQ. The best thing to do is to speak with our live support team and see what can be done in this situation, it may be the case that as an underage account is tied to an adult account that the only way to delete it is by deleting the adult account.
