Hey there @ZacharyH3

 

You wouldn't necessarily have to delete your account. You could simply swap that e-mail to another one so it would then be freed for your other account. Would save you a bunch of trouble having to contact the EA Support asking them to delete your account.

If you prefer my explanation though, in short:

 

If you are logged in here at AHQ, click your name from the top right with a little drop arrow next to it, and choose "EA Account" from the drop menu which opens up. From there, click the "About me" tab (should be open by default) and then click the "Edit" next to 'Basic Information' in order to change your e-mail. Alternatively you can open up your Origin, click from the top left "Origin" and then "EA Account and Billing.." and you get to the same 'Customer Portal' page as with the other method. All you have to then do is enter your login verification or answer your security code and you can change the e-mail on your Account #1 to something else, and then you are free to use that e-mail for your Account #2.

In short, though, what you do need to do is that you contact and EA Advisor at the EA Support by going to this page and filling in the right Case Information: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

 

On that page, first, login from the top right and choose your region. Then for the Case Information, choose "Origin" as your 'game or service' , PC/MAC whichever you use as your platform, "Manage my account" as the 'Topic' and "Delete account" as your 'Issue' . Then just choose whether you use Origin 9 or 10 and a "Select contact option" should appear written on a blue button. Click it.

 

Please take note that currently, the Hurricane Ophelia is affecting the support times a little bit ( https://help.ea.com/en/help/alert-message/support-delays-due-to-severe-weather/ ) so your wait times to the support might be longer than usual. You can still opt to change your support region especially if you are not given the option to Live chat or Live call at all. If the chat or call doesn't work at all or the page doesn't load properly, please try out the following:

 

  • Disable ad blockers
  • Disable pop-up blockers
  • Disable no-script
  • Allow cookies on EA Help
  • Press F5 to refresh the page
  • Clear the browser cache
  • Try another browser
