Customize your loadouts with Star Cards in STAR WARS™ Battlefront™

Unlock Star Cards with in-game Credits. Assemble hands of two Asset Cards and one Charge Card to turn the tide of your battle.

How do Star Cards work?

Star Cards represent different weapons and equipment you can take into battle.

A hand consists of two Asset Cards and one Charge Card.

  • Asset Cards are rechargeable weapons like the Thermal Detonator or Cycler Rifle, and equipment like the Jump Pack.
    • When you use an Asset Card, it turns red and goes into cool-down mode for a few seconds.
    • Once your Asset Card finishes cooling down, you can use it again.
  • Charge Cards are limited use items, like the Ion Shot power-up, that you have a limited number of charges for.
    • When you use a Charge Card, its counter will decrease by one.
    • You can find charges in-game to keep using Charge Cards.

How do I get more Star Cards?

You can find the Star Cards menu under Unlocks in the Collect tab of the main game menu.

In the Star Cards menu, you can find and possibly upgrade your unlocked Star Cards, use credits to purchase new Star Cards, and customize your Star Card hands.

  • Select a card to see what it does, how many credits you need to unlock it, and whether you can upgrade it.
    • You can upgrade some Star Cards to a Black Edition.
    • Black Edition upgrades range from increasing a Star Card’s damage to decreasing a Star Card’s cool-down time.

You can create two different Star Card hands to use during matches.

  • Open the Hand menu to swap newly unlocked Star Cards into your hands.
  • If you have a partner, you also have the option of selecting their chosen hand and potentially trying Star Cards you have yet to unlock.
