Covenient Incovenience when Contacting a Rep for a Refund.

★★★ Newbie

I have reported EA Games to the BBB, for not making themselves available as I attempt to request a refund for a purchase I did not authorize. Too many members are experiencing the same thing. There is not contact person to assist in resolving this matter when you make an attempt to do "Live Chat" or contact their number. This is outright fraud. My Bank has been notified and so will the District Attorney's Office. I used to Love Origin, and remember when they had Live Customer Service reps to help. I have sat at my computer pretty much an entire Saturday trying to get this resolved, no luck. Shame on you Origin.

Not sure why you weren't able to find this (took 20 seconds for me) but here you go:

https://help.ea.com/en/refund/

For future reference, either delete your saved payment method from your Origin account or enable two-factor authentication. This way no one but you can make purchases on your account even if they have access to it (ie. family members)

That's a lot of rage for not being able to get a refund on a weekend day.

You're not legally entitled to refunds of digital purchases. EA offers refunds as a service to customers but are not obligated to do so.

The automatic refund process should have been easy to find (first and second result when googling "EA refund"). If you somehow missed that, then I'm afraid that's not an error on EA's part.

Edit: The issue of account safety is much more severe. Two step verification is indeed very important. I think EA should force this because people are too careless with their info. Also note that a credit card charge back may result in an account ban because, especially because EA makes it so easy for players to get a refund through the automated process.

I have marked @Vellu78's answer as the solution.
