im trying the same thing.. i bought my time at portia on steam it was cheaper. but orgin for some reason does not reconginze that yet, i am hoping one day there could be a way for them to connect accounts. because lately i been buying games on steam since its so much cheaper. i know gog has away to connect orgin steam and epic games.. so try that.. becuase it does see you bought games and even updates it on there site, its called gog.com you go there and download gog galaxy it will take some time if you have different formats like i do, it took like 2 hours i have alot of steam games. but this site does update and keep things organized.. but again there is no way for origin to do this yet. i really hope they can though.. becuase that would be nice, im not about to buy the same game twice that is for sure..
