Can't create an account on EA Desktop

My daughter and I both have Xbox Game Pass for PC accounts. I'm attempting to use EA Play to download Sims 4 for my daughter but when I enter her age and it asks for the parent email, then the new ID and password I go through the verification and then I get an error on the password field that says "So... that wasn't it. let's try again."

I can't get passed this... any help?

Hey @Shinkhi, for issues such as this you will need to speak with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to advise you further. 

You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

To  speak with a chat adviser:

Click on your product Origin

Then select 'PC

Manage my Account'

Can't log in

Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.
