Can Sims 4 for MAC be download on a Mac book and Mac desktop?

...or can it only be downloaded on one of those platforms? I'd like to be able to play it at home and on the go. Thanks.

You can download it on several places as long as you're logged into the same Origin account, but just play it at one computer at a time. Just make sure your Macs meets the system requirements.
Also, your saves and such are local, so if you want to play with the same families on both computer you need to manually move the save-files with an USBdrive or sync them to iCloud between sessions
