Can I purchase Sims 4 packs after the base game became free? (Legacy Edition)

Hi,

I'm a Sims 4 Legacy Edition player. Does anyone know if I can still purchase packs from Origin after the base game became free? Are older packs like Living Island, Get Together, Get To Work, Dine Out, etc still compatible for Legacy Edition before 12th Dec? Because after it became free in October, the minimum specs said it needs Metal required for older expansion packs and game packs.

@dylkhp  Yes, you can purchase and install any pack released before October 2019, and it should run in the Legacy Edition.  I believe the packs' requirements were updated a bit early in anticipation of discontinuing the LE.  But these packs still do run in the LE as well as in the standard version of the game.
